TruLynk Court Classes

Questions people actually ask

Written for someone holding a court order who has not done this before. Where the honest answer is that only your court can decide, that is what it says.

Before you enroll

How do I know which class I need?
Your court order names the exact program, and so will your probation officer or attorney if you have one. Match that name to the class on this site. If the wording is unclear, send us a photo of the order and we will tell you which class it means before you pay for anything.
Are the classes really online?
Yes. Classes are taught live over Zoom by an instructor, so you attend at a scheduled time and stay for the full session. The exception is the self-paced online courses, Substance and Drug Awareness, Alcohol Awareness and Firearm Safety, which you work through on your own schedule; each says so on its page.
Will my court accept the certificate?
We are licensed by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation and we issue state-issued Certificates of Completion. Only your court or supervising officer can decide whether a given program satisfies your order, so confirm the program name with them before you enroll. We would rather say that plainly than have you find out after you have paid.
Do you serve my county?
We serve all 254 Texas counties. Because classes run online, where you live in the state does not limit which class you can take.
When can I register?
Now. Most classes take enrollment online, and some let you pick a dated session and pay to reserve that seat in one step. For the rest, call or text us and we will get you enrolled and take payment by phone. Either way, confirm the program name with your court or probation officer before you pay.
Can someone under 18 take a class?
Yes. The Alcohol Education Program for Minors is for people under 18 charged with MIP, MIC, PI or DUI. A parent or legal guardian enrolls the minor, provides the contact and payment details, and receives the Certificate of Completion.

Paying

Do you offer payment plans?
Some classes have them. Anger Management can be paid weekly instead of in full, and the Batterer Intervention and Prevention Program can be paid over time at a weekly rate. The price of every class is listed on its page.
Can I get a refund?
No. All sales are final once you enroll, including if you miss sessions, stop attending, are removed from a class, or later learn your court required a different program. The one exception is on our side: if we cancel a session and cannot reschedule you into an equivalent one, we refund what you paid for that class.

Attending

What do I need to attend?
For a live class, a device with a camera, a reliable internet connection, and a quiet place where you can be seen and heard for the full session. Being visible matters: time away from the screen can mean a session does not count toward your required hours. A self-paced course needs only a device and a connection.
What happens if I miss part of a session?
Programs have required hours or a required number of sessions set by the state and by your order. Arriving late, leaving early, or being away from the screen can mean a session does not count toward those hours. Missing time does not entitle you to a refund.

After you pay

I paid. What happens next?
If you booked a dated seat through the schedule, that date is your start and your seat is already held. If you paid on a class page, our team reaches out using the details from your checkout and sets your session dates with you. Either way, you can call or text us any time to set or confirm your dates on the spot.
Do you report my completion to the court?
Yes. We report your enrollment, attendance, and completion to the court or supervising authority named in your order, and we keep records the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation may audit. Completing a court-ordered class is not private in the way an ordinary purchase is, and our privacy policy sets out exactly who sees what.
